DebatePro provides an online platform to help users practice and improve debate and communication skills through AI-driven tools and personalized feedback.

5. Paid Accounts

• You may upgrade your account to access paid features of DebatePro. By upgrading, you authorize DebatePro to bill you on the date of upgrade and on each automatic renewal until you cancel.
• You are responsible for all applicable taxes.
• You may cancel your paid account at any time.
• Refunds are issued only if required by applicable law.
• Your paid account will remain active until canceled or terminated under these Terms.
• We may change our fees with advance notice, effective on your next billing cycle.

6. User Responsibilities

You are responsible for making all arrangements necessary to access the Service.

Data:

You are responsible for ensuring any information you provide is accurate and lawful.

Security:

You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activities that occur under your account. You must notify us immediately of any unauthorized use or breach of security.

10. Prohibited Uses

You may use DebatePro only for lawful purposes and in accordance with these Terms. You agree not to:

• Impersonate DebatePro, a DebatePro employee, another user, or any other person.
• Attempt to gain unauthorized access to, interfere with, or damage the Service.
• Attack the Service with denial-of-service or similar methods.

11. Disclaimer of Warranties

The Service is provided on an "AS IS" and "AS AVAILABLE" basis. DebatePro makes no warranties, express or implied, about the Service, including its accuracy, reliability, or availability. To the fullest extent permitted by law, we disclaim all warranties, including merchantability, non-infringement, and fitness for a particular purpose.

12. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, DebatePro and its affiliates will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for any loss of profits or revenues, arising out of your use or inability to use the Service. Our total liability to you for any claims relating to the Service will not exceed the greater of $100 or the amount you paid DebatePro in the 12 months preceding the claim.

13. Indemnification

You agree to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless DebatePro and its affiliates from any claims, liabilities, damages, losses, or expenses arising out of your violation of these Terms or your use of the Service.

14. Security

DebatePro will use reasonable measures to protect data you provide. However, you acknowledge that no method of transmission or storage is completely secure. If we become aware of a security incident affecting your data, we will notify you as required by applicable law.

15. Governing Law and Jurisdiction

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of California, without regard to its conflict of laws principles. Any disputes will be resolved exclusively in the courts of that state or in U.S. federal courts located there.

• These Terms and our Privacy Policy constitute the entire agreement between you and DebatePro.
• If any provision is found unenforceable, the remaining terms will remain in effect.
• Our failure to enforce any right under these Terms does not waive that right.
• We reserve all rights not expressly granted to you.
